About Our Modular Homes
About Our Modular Homes | Modular v/s Manufactured | New Home Process

A Modular home is built in a factory using system-built technology, transported to the construction site, crane-set onto a permanent foundation and finished on site. Modular homes differ significantly from manufactured homes (a.k.a. mobile homes) which are built to the HUD Code, whereas Modular homes are built to the California Building Code / UBC / Title 24 Codes and local regulations, same as site-built construction.

For example, our standard features include 6/12 pitch roofs, 6” exterior walls, 9’ flat and coffered ceilings, copper plumbing, low E windows, energy efficient appliances, Hardie Lap siding and architectural grade shingle roof. Also available as an option are three-coat stucco walls and tile roofs.

Purchasing a Modular home can save both time and money. A typical home can be completed in 30 to 90 days depending on complexity of design, size and location, with savings up to 30% when compared to site-built construction.
